Following a hugely successful inaugural event in 2026, the Chicago International Cup returns in 2027 with ambitions to become one of the Midwest’s premier international youth soccer tournaments.

The opening year brought together teams from across the region and welcomed three teams from Ireland to Chicago, creating exactly the type of international competition, cultural exchange and shared experience the tournament was designed to deliver. The weekend culminated in a memorable occasion with the 2011 championship final played inside SeatGeek Stadium, giving young players the opportunity to compete on a professional stage.

Hosted at the SeatGeek Stadium Sports Complex in Bridgeview, the tournament brings teams together at one destination for a full weekend of soccer. The 2026 event was staged across the complex from Friday through Sunday, with the venue offering convenient access to parking, hotels and restaurants and providing an ideal setting for visiting teams and families.

For 2027, the vision is to build on that foundation and make the experience even bigger. Teams will play 3-4 games across three days on high quality fields, with matches beginning Friday evening and continuing throughout Saturday and Sunday. Keeping the tournament centered around one primary destination allows the weekend to become about much more than simply getting from one game to the next.

The Chicago International Cup is designed to bring together soccer, community and culture, connecting young players from Chicago, across the United States and around the world through the game we all share.

After an exciting first chapter, 2027 promises to take the Chicago International Cup to another level.
