Chicago City SC is proud to announce the launch of its new College and High School Elite Player Pro Pathway, designed to elevate the next generation of talent through a dynamic and comprehensive development experience.

This innovative pathway creates a professional-style training environment, offering players consistent exposure to high-level competition through friendly matches at the local, regional, and national levels — and, beginning in 2026, international opportunities.

By expanding the competitive landscape and fostering player growth, Chicago City SC is helping ambitious athletes pursue collegiate, professional, and international careers while maintaining the club’s commitment to technical excellence, tactical education, and character development.

Building Champions. Creating Pathways. A New Chapter for CITY.

Chicago City Soccer Club has always believed in building meaningful pathways for players to grow, compete, and reach the next level.

Over the years, our Women’s and Men’s Programs have played an important role in that journey. Our Women’s teams competed at the highest levels in WPSL and USL W, finishing 2nd nationally in 2019 and again in 2023. Many CITY athletes earned college scholarships, and several advanced into professional careers across South America, Europe, and Australia.

On the men’s side, CITY were crowned USL2 Heartland Division Champions in 2023, reaching #1 in the country four times — including three consecutive weeks entering the playoffs. The program featured a strong core of homegrown talent and provided a true bridge from Academy to senior competition. Today, multiple former CITY players are competing professionally in USL League One and overseas, a testament to the strength of that pathway.

We are incredibly proud of what those programs accomplished.

As we look ahead, however, we are making a strategic decision to focus all of our energy and resources on youth and Academy development.

Moving forward, Chicago City SC will no longer operate adult competition teams. This allows us to fully concentrate on what we believe is our greatest impact — developing high-performing high school players and strengthening the pathway from youth to college and beyond.
